God in Our Breath: Grace

there but for the grace of— whatever you believe in/

go any one of us, but instead we keep breathing/

and there’s really no reason— why they died instead of you/

so why spend your life not doing what you want to do?/

find your passion— and take some action/

make it happen— start to practice/

‘cause practice makes— well, NOTHING makes perfect/

but you’ll have a sense of purpose— and be of service/

there but for the grace of— don’t believe in grace, but/

believe in being grateful— and happy, not hateful/

happy from working towards a goal/

that cannot be bought— that cannot be sold/
